Scott leads the residential division of Black Walnut with a lifetime of hands-on experience and a deep-rooted passion for homebuilding. Having grown up in a family of builders (two of his brothers now serve as Black Walnut’s lead carpenters), Scott has been immersed in residential construction his entire life. His instinct for quality, structure, and detail reflects decades spent learning the craft from the ground up and carrying forward a family legacy of building homes the right way. Originally from High Point, North Carolina, Scott has been married to his wife, Catherine, for 20 years. Together, they’re raising four daughters. When he’s not on a job site, he’s usually on the soccer field—coaching his girls’ teams and investing in the same kind of patient guidance, teamwork, and care that define his leadership at Black Walnut.
